Dr. Orinion was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California and earned his Medical Degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed his residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Orinion is a member of:

- Indianapolis Medical Society
- American Gastroenterological Association
- American College of Gastroenterology
His areas of special interest are Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis and management of chronic liver disease. He enjoys hiking, camping and spending time with family.
Dr. Orinion joined IG&H in July of 2005.
