Dr. Mokeba was born in New Rochelle, New York. She graduated from the University of Tampa and earned her Medical Degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Mokeba is board certified in Gastroenterology and is a member of:
- Indiana State Medical Association
- Indianapolis Medical Society
- American College of Gastroenterology
- American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy
Upon completion of her GI fellowship she was in practice in Annapolis, Maryland. She joined IG&H in February 2005 when she moved to Indianapolis to join her husband.
Her area of special interest is colorectal cancer and she is an active member of the group's Information Technology committee. She is also the Secretary of the Indianapolis Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
