Dr. Lemmel was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated from the University of Dayton and earned his Medical Degree from the University of Cincinnati. He completed his internship, residency, and Gastroenterology Fellowship at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis. Dr. Lemmel is board certified in Gastroenterology and is a member of:
- Indiana State Medical Society
- Indianapolis Medical Society
- American Gastroenterological Association
- American Society of Gastroenterology Endoscopy
Dr. Lemmel is very active on committees associated with Indianapolis Gastroenterology and St. Francis Hospital. He is the Chairman of the Internal Medicine Patient Care Committee.
His interests include golf and coaching, and he has an active family life. He is married and has four children.
Dr. Lemmel joined IG&H in July of 1996.
