Dr. Jacob was born in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and earned his Medical Degree from the Ohio State University. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center and completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis. Dr. Jacob is board certified in Gastroenterology and is a member of:
- Indiana State Medical Association
- Indianapolis Medical Society
- American College of Gastroenterology
- American Society of Gastroenterology Endoscopy
His area of special interest is gastrointestinal motility. He is very active in the business aspect of the practice and currently holds the position of President of Indianapolis Gastroenterology.
He is an avid golfer and has an active family life. He is married and has three children.
Dr. Jacob joined IG&H in July of 1994.
