Dr. Brown was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated from Brigham Young University and earned his Medical Degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his internship, residency, and Gastroenterology Fellowship at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis. Dr. Brown is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a member of:
- Indiana State Medical Association
- Indianapolis Medical Society
- American College of Gastroenterology
- American College of Physicians
He was the past President of Indianapolis Gastroenterology and Hepatology, the Chairman of the Credentialing Committees at both Community Hospital South and Johnson Memorial, a member of the Medical Care Review Committee at Johnson Memorial, on the Board of the Surgery Management Group at Johnson Memorial and Past-President of Community Hospital South.
Other areas of interest include music, photography, and saltwater aquamarine life. He is married and has two children and one grandchild.
Dr. Brown joined IG&H in July of 1985.
